As part of my university coursework, I produced a photography portfolio on a subject of my choosing. This was a personal project for me as I decided to photograph my three uncles working in the scrap yard that has been in my family for over one hundred years. As my uncles near retirement age and plan to sell the yard, it felt important for me to document a piece of family history that will very soon no longer exist.

The photos were taken with a Sony A6000 camera and edited in Adobe Lightroom.
