SSAFA, The Armed Forces Charity
I have been a digital marketing volunteer for the Buckinghamshire brand of SSAFA, The Armed Forces charity for three and a half years. I created the branch's Facebook page and maintain it on a weekly basis, mainly re-sharing posts from the main SSAFA account, sharing images approved by the branding team, and sharing content relevant to local veterans.
Graphics
My posts primarily use images from SSAFA's asset bank with my own caption, but sometimes I create my own graphics on Canva and Adobe Photoshop for SSAFA that are in-keeping with the charity's branding.

Representing a charity
As well as advertising SSAFA Buckinghamshire online, I filmed a video that was part of a company-wide campaign to encourage more students to volunteer for the organisation. This was shared on SSAFA's official Facebook and TikTok pages.
Interacting with local events
I often write copy to accompany images from any local events that SSAFA Buckinghamshire attends. This is just one example of the professional but inviting tone I use.

I also wrote a news article that was published on the SSAFA website featuring an interview with one of our volunteers who attended an event at 10 Downing Street.
Presentations
I've produced several presentations outlining my digital strategy for the branch. One proposed a budget for paid Facebook ads, which was successful, and I gave another to the entire branch at a training day to explain more about my role and the input I needed from them. Below is the presentation I gave to the branch (created on PowerPoint but exported to Canva). Some branch members were not familiar with social media, so I gave an overview using engaging visuals and statistics.
