Website for Cobweb Arts
I built a website to support my small craft business that points my customers in the direction of my Etsy. I do not currently sell directly from my website due to the cost of integrating a selling platform, but I felt it was important to build a site regardless to begin cementing SEO strategies..
Core Ideas
I wanted to use natural, warm tones for the colour palette to reflect the homely, handmade feel of my decorations. I use keywords and an informal tone in my text to emphasise that this is a personal crafting site rather than a large-scale business and, although it is a fairly simple site, it is effective and easy to navigate. The two fonts I chose work well with the minimalist style and make for a refreshing visit.
